Specialist Building Control (Grade 5-7)

Salary range:  £29,820 - £48,133 per annum
Full-Time Permanent

Due to a forthcoming retirement, Guildford Borough Council Building Control have an exciting opportunity for a Building Control Surveyor to join their dynamic team.

You will be responsible for an area within the Borough.

Successful candidates should be professionally qualified MRICS, MCABE or equivalent, or be working towards becoming qualified, and should be educated to A level standard/NVQ 3.  A building related degree is desirable.

You should have a good working experience in Building Control and a sound technical knowledge of building practices and current building legislation.

You should have a positive attitude to change, be an effective communicator and be able to form productive working relationships.
