Our client is an independent consultancy providing bespoke project management services, with extensive experience within commercial, warehouse, mixed use development, offices and private residential.
They are currently seeking an APC Building surveyor to join their London team. The team is currently made up of 1 associate director, 1 shareholding director and 1 chartered building surveyor. You will be working with some the industry’s best, where progress is based on your abilities, as opposed to time served. Projects vary in size, from a few hundred thousand to schemes that cover 2 million sq. ft, with clients ranging from Amazon, Rolls Royce, John Lewis, Blackrock to name a few.
Other duties you will encompass include TDD dilapidations, surveys, contract administration, defect analysis, creating the ideal blend in order to tackle your APC.
The successful candidate will have an RICS accredited degree with a minimum of 12 months or more experience working for consultancy or private practice. Ideally, you will have experience in assisting projects and carrying out surveys, You will have good report writing skills, are personable and able to work well within a team.. You will be expected to engage with clients on a day-to-day basis, so it is important that you are confident and able to conduct yourself well in client facing scenarios.
In return the business will provide a basic salary up to £30,000 D.O.E, Pension, 23 days holiday plus Christmas, bonus, cycle to work scheme, season ticket loans, RICS & CPD Fees, APC support and more,
