Currently looking to recruit a Planning Manager to manage the planning promotion of projects in line with the regional strategy.
Client Details
This UK based property investment and development company possesses significant property / regeneration expertise and are primarily focused on delivering value for their customers, partners and shareholders. This specific team are currently working on large, residential-led projects to support the targeted growth of the business.
The successful candidate will be identifying areas of search for new opportunities within the region and preparing planning strategies for existing sites within the London / SE region. Working within the planning team, undertaking site appraisals, managing projects and taking them through the planning process this is an excellent opportunity to progress your career at a renowned master developer.
Description
- Working with internal and external project team members to agree and communicate changes to the site-specific planning strategy, including changes to the budget and commercial viability of the site. To manage site specific planning budgets in line with business authorisation levels and in partnership with Regional Finance To negotiate with external stakeholders, seeking assistance from the Senior Planning Manager where appropriate. To identify areas of search for new opportunities within the region. To prepare planning strategies for existing sites within the region. To implement the strategy to achieve planning milestones on individual sites, communicate progress as appropriate.
Profile
The successful candidate will possess 4+ years' post qualification experience and chartered MRTPI membership. A track record in managing a range of planning promotion projects is required along with the ability to manage external consultants and negotiate with third party stakeholders. Knowledge of London planning from working within a fast-paced project space is essential.
