Head of Service Delivery

Location: Saughton House, Edinburgh (currently working from home)

Starting salary: £49,149 per annum

You will perform a key role as part of the senior management team within the SCTS, setting the operational direction for facilities management within the SCTS. The Head of Service Delivery (HOSD) will lead the planned and sustainable maintenance, operation and facilities management of the SCTS estate. Working with SCTS colleagues you will help to drive and deliver key facilities and infrastructure improvements in how the Courts, Tribunals and Office of the Public Guardian serve the judiciary and public. You will lead, coach and motivate staff within the PSU delivery team too.

The job requires a proven track record of managing complex estates and managing estates management services. You will have notable experience of running large capital programmes and ideally be a Chartered Member of a professional property Institute e.g. RICS, CIOB, CIBS, RIBA.

A 2:1 bachelor’s degree level qualification or equivalent in Facilities Management, Building Surveying, Construction, Engineering, Architectural or another subject of merit to the post is desired but not essential.
