Permanent, 35 hours per week

An exciting vacancy has arisen for a progressive and forward thinking, qualified Chartered Surveyor to work as part of a dedicated small team responsible for managing the Duchy’s interests in the Isles of Scilly,

Based on the stunning island of St Mary’s overlooking Porthcressa Beach and St Mary’s Harbour, the role involves a broad range of professional estate management work reflective of the natural and built environment of Scilly.

You will be liaising with tenants and others on a variety of issues; under-taking a range of rental and licence reviews of residential property, land and commercial property and carrying out property inspections, working alongside a team of building professionals.

You will have a relevant property-related qualification such as MRICS or FAAV, have strong organisational skills and work within and understand health and safety policies.

A knowledge of building anatomy and identifying and resolving defects or experience of working within designated landscapes would be desirable
