Senior Acquisitions & Partnership Lead

Macdonald & Company are currently working on a Senior Acquisitions and Partnership Lead role paying up to £85,000 plus 30% bonus per annum.

Our client is a start-up property company who acquires social and affordable housing aspects of Nationally based developments. Their current portfolio is made up of circa 4,000 units with plans to double their construction pipeline.  Our client’s ambitious plans include growing this figure substantially over the coming years approaching 30,000 units.

The successful candidate will lead a team of Analysts and Associates to source opportunities with developers and housebuilders and move them through to successful conclusions. The incumbent will work closely with National Directors to nurture excellent working relationships with developers and to ensure the company is the preferred partner for affordable housing delivery.


Key duties include:
 

• Successfully engaging and driving the team forward to achieve pre-identified KPI’s and objectives based on annual targets for the company
• Identification and management of new and existing relationships with key developers and housebuilders ensuring the company is the preferred partner for affordable housing delivery
• Working closely with National Directors on pricing decisions
• Reviewing documents prepared by associates ensuring quality at all times and providing general oversight in managing the acquisition process
• Building and maintaining relationships internally with other teams such as Sales & Lettings and Housing
  

Our client is looking for:
 

• 2 years in similar role
• Demonstratable team management skills (approx. 2 years)
• Demonstratable experience in real estate acquisitions (approx. 5 years)
• An ability to influence and negotiate in obtaining market information including agents
• Someone able to obtain results through the inspiring and cultivating team performance
• Exceptional communication skillset both verbally and written with a strong work ethic
