An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Building Surveyor to join a multi-discipline practice.

My client is arguably one of the most prestigious consultancies in the UK. They provide accurate construction advice across the built environment. The firm boasts modern open plan London offices which hosts over 100 professionals. The organisation specialises in the commercial sector and undertakes exclusive projects for desirable clientele.

The building consultancy department plays an integral part in the firm’s success, due to an increase in workload and organic growth a role for an Assistant Building Surveyor has arisen. This is a traditional building surveying role which encompasses both professional and project disciplines.

You will join a team of friendly and highly skilled surveyors who are passionate about their work. The role is to assist a Senior Building Surveyor who is also an experienced APC councillor. The practice offers full APC support ensuring you successfully achieve Chartership status.

 Responsibilities:

• Contract administration
• Dilapidations
• Technical due diligence
• Building Surveys
• Project Management
• Schedules of condition
• Planned maintenance programmes
• Refurbishment

About the Assistant Building Surveyor:

• BSc in Building Surveying
• Minimum 18 months experience (private practice)
• Ideally started APC
• Commercially aware
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Full UK driver’s licence
