North / North West Region

Manchester office

A Leading Independent consultancy are seeking to recruit a Project Manager to join their National Commissions team on public sector projects in the North/North West region. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join and strengthen the team.

The National Commissions team are dedicated to providing professional services to key clients that have large change programmes to manage in the UK and worldwide. The team operate out of the Manchester office with a nationally based resource team.

YOU:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role, and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results.

  • Construction Project Management degree or a similar construction related qualification with extensive technical delivery experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge and experience with NEC4 form of contract
  • Public sector experience
  • Consultancy experience
  • Good construction and M&E knowledge
  • Familiarity with design process
  • Ability to work on own initiative is imperative being part of a UK wide team
  • Ideally MRICS or equivalent professional qualification but not essential
  • Well organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
  • A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering to deadlines
  • A team player with a 'can do' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable and flexible

This role offers a global reach but with an independent feel, they can support a Project Manager through training and exposure and allow the individual to contribute to the shaping of the future on their career.
