Building Surveyor
Due to sustained workload, we have an opportunity for a chartered Building Surveyor, with at least 2 to 3 years post chartership experience, to join our multi-disciplinary team in our Bristol Studio. Stride Treglown’s Building Surveying team are presently based in the practice’s Bristol, Cardiff, and Plymouth offices with intentions for growth into other offices over the next 5 years.
The Stride Treglown Building Surveying team covers a variety of project and professional services to a range of property types, including those in healthcare, education, defence and Custodial and conservation sectors. The role which we are looking to fill will cover a mix of both professional services including condition surveys, defect diagnose and PPM schedules as well as project based works include the design, project management and contract administration of refurbishment projects. The procurement route and contract type will vary, but the candidate will be expected to have a good base of project experience, and will be required to run projects in the £0-2m value range, though with support from the wider team as necessary.
We are seeking someone who can work on projects independently, and is committed to timely, pragmatic and high quality service delivery, and who is proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, Word, Excel and ideally Microsoft Project.
