This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to really see the light to directorship, and as this business has made huge recent changes, the opportunity to gain shares could not be stronger.

The consultancy in question is solid, medium sized with a head count of around 70 in their London office, they have strong structures in place and use up to date systems, they have a fantastic graduate/APC program, and no one can question how successful they have been over the last 14 years.

Recently they made a decision to change from being an LLP to a Trust, which means the majority of the company is now owned by the employees and profits are now being shared – even graduates in the business are entitled to a tax-free bonus – there is of course more to it than this but it’s a direction they have decided to go in as a way of retaining and attracting the right people and you would feel part of the company rather than just an employee.

Going back to the role, you will be involved in the delivery and management of residential and commercial projects with values ranging typically from £2m – 100m, you would be tasked with managing key accounts and developing new business within.

As a business they are one of the most social I know of, a fantastic culture where they like to ‘try’ and take the whole company skiing once a year and organise many other outside of work activities.

Not only do they pride themselves in having built a great working environment, but they do look after their staff, and I would say typically pay 10% more than the average London consultancy.

This role is to replace a Director that has decided to leave the country on a new challenge and rather than bringing someone in like for like they are looking to give someone the opportunity to grow into the role.
