Lease Advisory – Data Researcher – Reading

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the Lease Advisory team to assist with the research in collecting information for client reporting and business development purposes.

Working with a senior team and using a range of software and information sources, including contacting external companies, to acquire commercial property information, the research will include market transactions and property specifications. This information will then be presented in an agreed format to the team upon which client reports/advice can be provided.    

The role will also involve working with all teams within the business to gather and share information researched with a geographical coverage of the South of England. There will be occasional travel required between our network of offices for off-site data research.  

Knowledge and experience of the UK commercial property market is desirable, but not essential.

The ideal candidate will

• Proficient in the use of MS Office suite, Teams and Zoom
• Strong research and data analysis skills
• Highly motivated with a desire to gain a greater understanding of the commercial property market
• Excellent customer service and time management skills
• Ability to influence others and show tenacity when chasing information from external sources
• Willingness to learn and develop self
• Interpersonal skills with ability to interact at all levels within VW, a team player
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail
• Be self-motivated to plan your own working day and weekly workload as well as the ability to make certain decisions on personal safety when lone working.
• Utilise LinkedIn and other social media platforms to help grow and promote the VW brand
• Embrace the best methods for researching clients and how to spot opportunities.
