Senior Building Surveyor

A building surveyor is needed to help deliver investment lead surveying services for a well regarded property consultancy in the City of London.

The firm provides a full range of Building Surveying services, from acquisition surveys, contract administration, defect diagnosis, dilapidation negotiation, project management and Loan Monitoring services.

They work with landlords and occupiers, banks, developers, institutions, high net worth and private clients.  Their London office is an impressive flagship for the business, the building consultancy team is diverse in its service offering and the building surveying team is small but very high yielding. This team is led by one of the industries most admired and caring professionals, who displays great passion for their work and creates excellent moral.

The role is focused on the transaction side of the industry and as such demands a building surveyor who enjoys their survey work. You will also have rounded professional experience with dilapidations, party wall instructions through to defects diagnosis.

The individual will come from a private practice or consultancy, with commercial experience, well grounded, technically competent and have a charismatic personality. It is essential have enrolled on to the APC pathway and look to sit your exam within 18 months.

In return you will be well paid, given full support to help develop and grow, as well as a very clear bonus structure that is purely based on personal performance with the ability to earn up to 50% of what you bill above a certain threshold.
