Job Details
Our client, a government-backed organisation, is looking for a contract Property Management Surveyor to play a crucial role in the management of their property portfolio.
The Role:
- Acting as a key contact with the companies appointed property managing agents to ensure high quality estate management.
- Lead contact with appointed property managing agents to provide high-quality estate management including monitoring through monthly reports and KPI's on their performance on lettings, rent collection, maintenance, repair and disposals.
- Monitor the day to day management of properties by the appointed agents including evaluation and instruction of repair and maintenance works and subsequent monitoring and budgeting of fees and expenses.
- Lead on the co-ordination of the suppliers in the development and implementation of technical and strategic projects to ensure compliance with new and current legislation, best practice and improvement of the performance of the portfolio.
The Candidate:
Our client is looking for candidates with the following experience:
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in operating in a property management and / or project environment.
- Knowledge of lettings, rent collection, maintenance, repair and disposals processes and technical aspects of general practice surveying.
- A Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent.
- Experience of managing and monitoring performance of property consultants, agents, contractors and suppliers.
- Experience of working with suppliers to develop effective working relationships and manage performance to ensure delivery through the supply chain.
