Our client: An international consultancy firm operating in offices across the UK and Europe.

Role of the Assistant Building Surveyor/ Building Surveyor: Supporting the Senior Building Surveyors, undertaking a wide range of building surveying duties throughout Oxfordshire

The candidate's responsibilities:

With support, managing their own projects and understanding the commercial aspects of the role.Learning and understanding the principles of quality, safety, and the environment within project management.Participating in internal and external initiatives.Generating repeat business and participating in local business development initiatives.

Requirements:

A BSc (hons) in Building Surveying or a similar equivalent degree accredited by the RICS.Registered with the RICS and progressing with the APC.At least 3 years post qualification experience in a Building Surveying role.Good time and workload managementThe ability to undertake condition surveys.Mathematical strength.A desire to improve knowledge and technical skillsAn ambition to gain chartered status in the short term.IT literate; a good understanding of Microsoft Office and other software packages such as AutoCAD.Be able to work remotely some days and in office other days.
