Role: Rural Chartered Surveyor

Location: Great Witley, Nr Worcester, Worcestershire

We are seeking a high quality candidate to join our established team of property professionals. We are a respected and hardworking independent firm based in Worcestershire with clients throughout the surrounding counties and beyond.

Established in 1898 we are a firm of chartered surveyors providing advice to the rural property owner, farmer, landlord and tenant. We also have a strong and successful presence in the property market across Worcestershire with both sales and lettings. We have a busy team of RICS Registered Valuers and also offer commercial property advice.

The successful candidate will be required to provide services to our existing clients, as well as working with us to further expand the customer base. The role will be varied and therefore interesting and certainly rewarding.

The role will include, but will not be limited to and listed in no particular order, the following: -

BPS, ELMS, Countryside Stewardship and other grant application work

Rural planning and diversification work

Assisting with Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (AMC) applications

Agricultural tenancy matters

Renewable energy developments

Land and estate management

Sales and letting of rural property

Utility compensation claims

Assisting with valuation work

General professional advice for rural clients

We require the candidate to be / have: -

A qualified rural chartered surveyor (MRICS)

Either a probationer or fellow of the CAAV

Rural background with a practical understanding of agriculture is essential

A confident team worker who is able to manage their own workload

Good communication skills required to deal with clients, other professionals and colleagues are essential

Have good IT skills to include mapping system use and social media

Full UK driving licence and own vehicle

Terms / Package: -

This is a role that is ready for immediate commencement

This is a full time role with 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)

Proposed salary of £30,000

We will commit to your further professional development and support you in obtaining your FAAV (if not already held), gain RICS Registered Valuer status (if not already held) or indeed other applicable qualifications such a AssocRTPI.
