About the role:

Based in our Faculty of Science and Engineering, the School of Engineering and the Built Environment offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in architecture, civil engineering, construction/project management, quantity and building surveying, town planning and mechanical engineering. We’re seeking to appoint a Lecturer Practitioner /Senior Lecturer Practitioner with a quantity surveying background to teach both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

With a degree and/or a higher degree (Senior Lecturer Practitioners only), you’ll have considerable experience working as a quantity surveyor in a PQS practice or for a contractor and have a post graduate professional or academic qualification.  Under the supervision of the Deputy Head of School, you’ll be responsible for teaching quantity surveying and other related subjects. You’ll be committed to the development of professional practice and prepared to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
