Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Projects: Residential, Healthcare, Commercial, Mixed Use and Leisure.

Role of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

Attend Client, Design, Project, Site and other project meetings.Prepare budgets, cost plans, cash flow forecasts and regular/monthly cost reports.Prepare tender documentation, bills of quantities, or other pricing documents.Check tender submissions for errors, omissions, exclusions, qualifications, inconsistencies etc.Prepare tender reports, conduct negotiations with tenderers and prepare documentation to confirm adjustments to tender sums.Obtain confirmation of all client and contractor insurances and legal documentation.Prepare variations, recommendations for interim payments and release of retention funds.Prepare final accounts or similar financial statement and recommendations for the payment of liquidated and ascertained damages

Requirements of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

Hold a Quantity Surveying degreeHave a minimum of 2 years Quantity Surveying experience Proficient in AutoCADProficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office packages
