I am currently recruiting for a Interim Corporate Landlord Implementation Lead for a long term contract in the East Midlands. Home based. Inside IR35.
The role is essentially bringing all property and property responsibilities for the different councils under one corporate landlord and the council departments become the tenant of the property department. Previous experience is essential.
My client is a large council based near the East Midlands.
Specific accountability's include:
leading the council's facility management and health and safety functions, delivering high quality, safe spaces for the staff, residents and partners that utilise our assets
delivering a high quality responsive repairs and modernisation service, managing both in-house teams and third party provider
building a comprehensive asset management framework and underpinning systems and processes
responsibility for the identification, viability and delivery of major capital projects, working closely with the Council's new homes delivery team
managing the Council's commercial estate to maximise income and support local business and voluntary sector tenants to thrive and grow
helping meet the Council's zero carbon, social value and challenging inequalities objectives.
The successful Interim Corporate Landlord Implementation Lead:
- Would have experience of delivering a corporate landlord previously
- Have excellent stakeholder skills
- Be able to commute to the East Midlands, once every few weeks
