Senior Structural Engineer - Temporary works

Your new company
Your new company is one of the leading temporary works companies in the UK. They have over 30 years' experience working alongside some of the UK's largest engineering companies on some of the UK's largest engineering projects.
They pride themselves on having a large, dynamic and forward-thinking team who handle a fast paced work environment and deliver a high standard of work on a range of sectors including energy, transport, residential, commercial and industrial schemes.

Your new role
Your new role will see you working on a range of projects as a senior engineer. Your main focus will be on conceptual and detailed design of the different schemes you are involved as well as providing your expert design knowledge to different teams within the company. Using your expert knowledge of design software such as Auto Cad & Revit, you will be in charge of our own design load and submit high-quality structural designs.

As a senior engineer, you will also assist the engineering director by checking more junior staff's work, assisting the management team, and identifying the need for training.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have 3-5 years' post degree experience as a structural engineer with 1-2 years of this working on temporary works. You will also have a good understanding of structural design software and have expert knowledge of Auto CAD 2D. It would also be highly beneficial for any application if you had a good, practical understanding of Masterseries and Revit.
You will also have achieved (or being near to achieve) an IEng qualification.
