Job Details

The successful applicant will be working in a small, dynamic development team managing the full development life-cycle: from identifying and acquiring sites, developing designs and obtaining planning permission, financing, project management of the construction process and the selling of the properties.

Their mission is to deliver a sustainable, affordable and scalable solution to help solve the UK's housing crisis. The company are in a period of substantial growth and and currently have several new-build sites to get through planning and delivery. Looking to recruit an Assistant Development Manager to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of those projects - which are within a rapidly growing area of the construction industry: modular eco-housing. This role will offer close exposure to the Board and offers a real chance to help steer the direction of the company and represents an opportunity for significant career progression within an innovative and pro-active developer.

Description

  • Supporting the senior members of the development team in the efficient running of the Development function.
  • To assist the team in the identification of new land opportunities, taking schemes through the technical, legal, planning and financial due diligence to achieve successful new land purchases across the Southeast.
  • Supporting the general management of schemes through planning and delivery.
  • Supporting in the promotion of the company's brand to potential development partners, local authorities and development consultants.

Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years' experience operating within a residential-led role at a developer. A general background knowledge in property combined with a relevant qualification along with experience and/or understanding of the development stages, including: acquisition, planning and delivery on site is also required.
