Bristol City Council has a large and diverse property portfolio and is the largest land owner in the City. We have an exciting opportunity for a person interested in progressing their career in property to work in the asset strategy team within our Property Division.
As a member of a small team, you will provide day to day support and assistance to Property Partners with the management of the Council’s extensive operational property estate. In practice this involves implementing the emerging Property Strategy and recommending property related solutions to requirements identified in Service Asset Management Plans. The aim is to reduce premises running costs, empower communities and maximise efficiencies across the Council’s operational and third sector portfolios.
We are looking to appoint someone at BG12 level to this career grade post and as such you will require post qualification experience of working in a property related environment and an excellent understanding of property management and valuation methods and to be a chartered member of the RICS and to meet the essential requirements of BG12 level in the person specification.
