Projects: Education, Local Authority, Housing, Healthcare, Ecclesiastical, Insurance and Commercial Company Headcount: 15 - 20 Typical Project Value: £50,000 - £300,000 Role of the Building Surveyor: Act as Contract Administrator and be the day-to-day contact on all managing projects. Conduct site investigations, prepare specifications for tender and report directly to the client. Preparing tender and contract documents. Carrying out regular site visits for site meetings, inspections and valuations. Analyse site activities, prepare progress reports on time, quality and cost of projects. Agree Final Accounts, issue Valuations and Practical Completion Certificates. Requirements of the Building Surveyor: Hold a RICS accredited Building Surveying degreeHave a minimum of 2 years previous building surveying experienceworking knowledge of building defects, what can cause them and what measures should be taken to repair such damagesShow evidence of effective and clear report writing skills and the confidence to make recommendations for further action such as any necessary further investigations and/or scope of repairs and remediation.Demonstrable experience in producing specifications in adherence with current guidelines.Be able to produce clear annotated drawings on AutoCAD.Full drivers license Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, bonus scheme, remote / flexible working and excellent career progression.
