Joshua Robert Recruitment are excited to be working with a leading independent international property consultancy based in the UK offering agency and professional advice across Commercial, Residential and Rural sectors.
 
The highly successful and growing organisation are actively seeking an experienced Rating Surveyor to expand the national service line into the Birmingham and Midlands area. Their Business Rates team provide a comprehensive service including; Appeals, Rate Payment, Empty Rates Mitigation and Rate Audit.
 
 
The Role:
 
The purpose of the role is to set up and lead a successful Business Rates team in Birmingham with a focus on both occupier and landlord instructions through appeals and empty rates mitigation. This will involve working closely with the UK Cities rating teams and will building on the existing client base in the Midlands.
 
 
The Person:
 
You will be able to formulate business strategies and implement them positively, along with the capacity to promote the professional image of the company effectively. The successful individual will be MRICS, IRRV or RSA qualified and will ideally have 4 years’ or more experience in rating. The capacity to fully utilise the Riverlake and Analyse software packages is highly desirable.
