Job Details

Established multi-disciplinary project management and cost management consultancy based on the outskirts of St Albans, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with private practise experience to join our busy team.

Our commercial projects range typically from £500k to £15m, principally within the logistics and industrial, retail and residential sectors, on behalf of a national development and asset management client base. We are engaged in all aspects of the development and construction process for our clients, from development management and involvement in the town planning process, through the construction delivery and appointment of consultants and then assisting occupiers with the fitting out and handover of our properties. We are able to offer a varied, interesting and positive work based experience.

Each member of the team is encouraged to embrace undertaking project management and employer’s agent duties as part of an integrated approach to the design and construction delivery, although a sound capability on all aspects of pre and post contract duties including estimating and construction law are the essential requirements.

With a pro-active approach to their work the ideal candidate will be:

  • 45 mins drive time from St Albans
  • Strong client facing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong pre and post contract experience
  • Experience in commercial projects
