My client is looking for several chartered surveyors to join their team to undertake commercial, residential & development valuations. Ideally, you will be able to carry out a mix of valuation work, however, if you specialise in one more so than the other the work can be tailored to suit. My client offers complete autonomy over work and the amount you do is entirely your call. You will be home based so strong self-discipline to carry out the work will be essential.
My client carries out valuation work across London and the home counties, with a lot of work being inside the M25. The successful candidates will preferably be over 3 years PQE and a registered valuer. 80% of the work carried out is long-form red book reports (circa 40 pages) with occasional short-form too. The work is very varied ranging from multi-units, flats, houses, offices, retail, industrial and mixed residential/commercial. Work is mostly undertaken for bridging lenders and private banks with clients including:

Due to the autonomy of the role the number of reports you carry out is entirely your decision, however, you wouldn’t be expected to carry out more than 10 in a week. My client takes pride in quality over quantity. You won’t need to win work as there is a dedicated business development director on hand to provide you with your instructions. All work is focussed towards your own logistics so you don’t have to travel far to carrying out valuations.
This is an ideal role for anyone who is looking to move away from being in an office, someone who is comfortable at undertaking work without the need for support. The role is highly paid with the added benefit of regular payments (weekly not monthly).
