Key Tasks of the role:

Promote sites through the local plan process and, when appropriate, the preparation and pursuit of a suitable planning applicationNegotiating S106 AgreementsIdentify strategic opportunities for the company that are suitable to promote through building up a program to generate and maintain contacts with Land AgentsPreparing and assisting in the preparation of offers as required by the Land and Business Development DirectorUndertake periodic viability assessments of all sites and create solutions to any uprising problemsUnderstand the legal process in securing strategic land

Required experience and skills:

MRTPI or MRICS (or working towards)Degree in Town planning, Property Development or construction preferred 2+ years of planning experience with a consultancy, local authority, or developerStrong knowledge of all aspects of house building industry (e.g., design, technical matters, land law and contracts)Excellent technical building surveying knowledge
