Job Details

Our client has approximately 12,000 employees globally and offices throughout every major city in the UK.

Due to an increase in their current work load across the North of the UK they are looking for a Senior Cost Manager to join their current team based in Yorkshire. You will supply advanced knowledge in a specialist stream (Cost Management) and basic to intermediate knowledge in more than one other job category to difficult and varied business issues.


Contribute to the preparation of purchasing reports, receipts and acknowledgement of materials and supplies and contribute to the preparation of internal construction works reporting.

Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of proper documentation, systems and processes to deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness of site administration processes and services to stake holders.

Liaison with external suppliers to manage the efficient provision of supplies etc.

Contribute to the preparation of construction works contracts ensuring all documentation is distributed and processed, all amendments are accurately recorded, and appropriate approval and sign off is provided to support efficient site management activities.


Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or another Construction related discipline combined with an advanced knowledge of role.

Ideally experience in a site coordinator role, and knowledge or construction or real estate development industry, and understanding of contract administration process.

Previous experience within the education or healthcare sectors would be beneficial but not essential.

MRICS qualified or the relevant level of experience would also be desirable.

This is a Consultancy QS role but does involve working in a live site environment 2/3 days per week,
