Housing Maintenance Officer - Devon / Plymouth

Long term interim opportunity for a Maintenance Surveyor / Maintenance Officer to join a housing provider

Your new company
You will be working for a provider of affordable housing based in the Devon region, a forward thinking housing partnership who are committed to the development of new homes, as well as the maintenance and continuous improvement of existing property of various age and type.

Your new role
As a Maintenance Officer you will join an asset management department to assist with the delivery of planned works, reactive repairs and also property compliance matters - assisting broadly across all thee areas. You'll visit properties to inspect and supervise ongoing planned works, assist with void inspections, and also assist with defect diagnosis in property.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position you will need to be able to demonstrate background and experience within property maintenance, ideally within the housing sector.

What you'll get in return
In return you'll receive an interim contract with initial duration of between 6 - 9 months, which is likely to extend further. You'll receive an hourly rate of pay which is flexible dependent on experience and qualifications.
