This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Building Surveyor with 1-2 years' experience who is working in a small to medium size practice and who would love the opportunity to get more project management experience in a larger corporate firm. Leeds is a growth area for this consultancy so joining it now will enable you to grow with the team within project exposure and personal promotion.

This role is 50/50 Building Surveying and Project Management so giving the right individual a great opportunity to gain more project experience and head their career towards full project management in the coming years

Our client is an independent global construction and property consultancy providing management and advice throughout the built environment.

This role is to be based in the Leeds office within the Building Consultancy department. This Building Surveyor will undertake a wide range of instructions across the building consultancy discipline, including; project management and contract administration, dilapidations, landlord and tenant advice, pre-acquisition surveys and technical due diligence on a range of commercial property.

All work is with high profile commercial clients, banks, law firms and corporate players therefore the right candidate should be presentable and commercially focussed with good communication skills.

Professional Instructions

• Project management and contract administration.
• Dilapidations (landlord or tenant).
• Preparation of specifications.
• Pre-acquisition surveys.
• Preparation of drawings on AutoCAD.
• Technical due-diligence.
• Preparing and checking Schedules of Condition, defects analysis and building pathology.
• Understanding of Health and Safety legislation and CDM Regulations.

Qualifications/Education Required.

• RICS qualified degree with APC diary started or the desire to do so.
