Job Details

The Project Director will take ownership and accountability for the projects, from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within contract requirements. The PD will work closely with the Development Director and all internal/external teams to ensure the successful delivery of each residential scheme.

Client Details

Our client is a well established Property Developer, based in Central London. They have a strong track record in delivering high quality projects across London & SE.

Description

Lead and manage the delivery of each residential project, from early design stages through to overseeing the main contractor during the construction delivery phase.

Responsible for cost, quality, program and delivery of the development to completion.

Chair relevant development meetings and ensure resources are committed from all disciplines to meet the objectives.

Responsible for the delivery of the scheme through planning design to scheme completion.

Responsible for the selection and appointment of all external consultants teams, including the design teams.

Manage the development of the whole life program, ensuring full understanding and commitment from all disciplines (internal and external).

Responsible for accurate project reporting to the business.

Work with the development team to provide early co-ordination of the development brief and bid.

Provide regular updates on scheme deliverables.

Build and maintain strong relationships with the development lead for the development and ensure the development is in line with the requirements.

Responsible for the procurement and execution of works for the delivery of the development.

Profile

In order to be considered you will need to demonstrate to have worked on the entire development life cycle of a residential project, from early design stages through obtaining planning consent, procurement of a main contractor and overseeing the scheme through to a successful completion.

You will ideally have worked for another developer in a similar role. Experienced Project Managers/Directors from PM Consultancy firms will also be considered if they can prove to have the required project experience and technical skill-sets.

MRICS qualification is desired.
