We’re seeking a Head of Construction & Quality that’s as ambitious as our plan to build 4,000 quality affordable homes across the West and East Midlands by 2025.

Reporting to our Director of Development, you’ll lead, manage and guide a team of Senior Project Managers and other Construction and Delivery Team members throughout the construction process, through to end of defects on a variety of diverse housing projects, focussing on timely delivery, accurate budget management and achieving the high quality that our customers expect.  Importantly, you’ll work closely with our partner contactors and developers and a number of key external and internal stakeholders, ensuring we have a robust forward forecast for delivery, whilst exploring the impact of industry and market changes in an increasingly uncertain time and how Midland Heart can be in the best position to meet these challenges.

Our ideal candidate? We’re seeking a seasoned construction professional with proven experience of leading and managing complex construction development project and programmes, through the construction process to end of defects. You’ll have an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of statutory and regulatory frameworks, as well as the key issues in the housing and development sectors, including construction best-practice. Importantly you’ll have a track record of collaborating with internal and external stakeholder to face challenges and drive performance.
