Description

The key responsibilities of the Interim Building Surveyor (Housing) role includes:

• Supporting the Asset team to deliver all aspects of planned and reactive works to customers in their homes
• Delivering surveys, technical specifications, and recommendations using your experience to deliver best value
• Managing external parties/contractors involved in the delivery of Asset Management delivery and contracts
• Managing programmes of work and problem solve to deliver a high quality service, on time and to agreed budget
• Carrying out post-inspections to assure completed works were carried out / necessary and have been completed to the required quality standard

Profile

The successful candidate for the Interim Building Surveyor (Housing) will:

• Have strong knowledge of project management/programme of works within a Housing Planned Works environment, and knowledge and ability to write detailed technical reports
• Have a good understanding and experience in using Contract documents such as JCT / NEC, and excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Hold appropriate surveying qualifications/relevant experience
• Be readily available to start, and be happily commutable within London (inside the M25)

Job Offer

An immediate start for an initial contract of 6 months

There is a good chance that the contract will be extended and could progress into a permanent role
