We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Building Control team for a qualified Building Control Surveyor.   The Building Control service oversees buildings and structures to ensure that they comply with Building Regulations and all associated relevant sections of the Building Act to ensure the health, safety and welfare of people in and about buildings.

About the job

As a Building Control Surveyor, you’ll process Building Regulation applications throughout the district, including conducting site inspections, completing plan checks and communicating outcomes clearly and directly with customers.  You’ll also carry out Building Control enforcement work including in connection with dangerous structures and demolition sites by undertaking site inspections and making recommendations about appropriate enforcement action.
