The Role

The successful candidate will have exposure to a varied range of commercial clients, delivering across all building consultancy services.  This will involve:

• Contract administration
• Preparation of schedules of condition, defects analysis and building pathology
• Pre-acquisition surveys
• Preparing and negotiating schedules of dilapidations (landlord or tenant)
• Preparation of drawings on AutoCAD
• Understanding H&S legislation and CDM regulations
• Business generation and fee income, to include attending client events

Within this role, there is the opportunity for growing and managing a team. 

If you’re a confident manager already, this role will allow you the full autonomy to ‘run with it’ whilst having the backing of an existing strong leadership team. Those with no prior management experience will also be welcomed but will be given the support to help shape them into the best leader they can be, offering any relevant training and development.  
 
The Candidate

The successful candidate will be a qualified Building Surveyor who is looking for a career move.

From a technical perspective, you will have a full understanding the components of commercial buildings, and of JCT contracts. And on a personal level, you will have the ability to build rapport at ease, with the ability to engage with stakeholders in promoting the firm and building a professional profile for yourself.
