Job Details
Park Avenue are currently working with a local authority in Derbyshire who require an Interim Estates Surveyor to work on a part time basis (3 days per week) on a 3 month contract.
Duties in the role:
To assist with the management of the Council's investment portfolio of retail, commercial and industrial property.
To identify assets for disposal and undertake their sale working with other sections in the Council, including taking recommendations to Cabinet.
To undertake the purchase of capital assets on behalf of the Council including recommendations and negotiations.
Participation in property reviews to identify areas for improvement in the use of operational and non-operational property.
To assist with valuations in accordance with RICS and CIPFA valuation standards.
Order repairs to properties, issuing purchase orders in line with the Councils protocols.
Experience required:
MRICS essential
Local authority experience required
