Job Details

I am now seeking an Engineer or Building Surveyor who is keen to make a move into a role doing Technical Due Diligence based in Milan, Italy.

This is a great opportunity to join an established firm in a new office and my client is keen to gain ambitious candidates who will want to help grow this service.

You will need a couple of years as either a Building Surveyor or Engineer in the building construction industry and possibly be working towards becoming chartered or be recently chartered.

You will need to communicate with clients and other offices in Italian and / or English so good fluency in both languages is required.

You will become involved in working closely with many financial institutions and investors on a wide variety of construction projects across many sectors.

Duties will include site visits, risk management, report writing, due diligence and client advisory services.

My client is a successful firm of construction consultants with a large number of UK, EU and worldwide offices providing quantity surveying, project management, building surveying, and specialist services including technical due diligence and monitoring services for banks, financial institutions and developers.

They work on construction projects across most sectors including leisure, residential, commercial, industrial and more.

They are already established in Italy but are opening a new office in Milan and already have a very large pipeline of work with various established clients.

You will be either almost chartered or already chartered as a Building Surveyor or a Civil Engineer or Structural Engineer and have an interest in the role doing Technical Due Diligence.

You will need a good eye for detail and have a good understanding of the construction process.

You will need to have a good technical understanding of buildings and good report writing skills.

You will be a good communicator and be able to deal with people at all levels.

My client may also be interested in candidates with a couple of years or more building surveying or engineering experience who are interested in training in technical due diligence.

My client will pay in the region of Euro 50000 to 60000 negotiable plus other benefits.

Please either email me your c.v. via this website or give me, Denise Neville a call on +44 20 7613 5555 or +44 20 8368 0025 or +44 7836 350309 for an informal and confidential discussion.
