The role

Estates is responsible for the management and development of University premises in Milton Keynes and its National and Regional Centres. We have a position for a Project Manager where we are seeking an experienced, proactive client focused construction Project Manager to join our Estates team to achieve the OU’s operational and strategic objectives.

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the effective management of construction projects from inception through to completion, engaging with all areas within Estates and colleagues across the University in delivering a full range of major and minor projects, major maintenance and engineering projects and carbon reduction projects.

Skills and experience

This role will suit you if you:

  • Are fully conversant with all aspects of managing a full range of new build / refurbishment projects with a strong track record of successful delivery
  • Have proven experience and knowledge of construction Health & Safety and the CDM Regulations.
  • Possess the ability to develop and implement a wider range of strategic plans and policies, possession of vision and strategic awareness
