Hays have been retained my one of the UK's most recognised multi-disciplinary construction consultancies in their search for an experienced Project Manager. Within the market they provide advice, technical knowledge and design to a range of sectors including Healthcare, Highways & Transport, Retail, Commercial, Education and Defence. They have been established in Northern Ireland for many years and have a strong track record for delivering large-scale projects throughout the province.

Your new role

This is an opportunity to expand your project portfolio of a variety of schemes throughout Northern Ireland within sectors such as Education & Government buildings. As a Project Manager you will be a core member of the team leading multi-disciplinary projects of varying sizes to a broad range of employers across multiple sectors including education & government buildings. Reporting into the Director of Project Management in Belfast and work alongside internal and external design team and will be expected to work autonomously and as part of our project teams


What you'll need to succeed

As a Project Manager you will have a Construction related degree ideally Quantity Surveying or Building Surveying. It is desired that you have a full membership of RICS or working towards this. You will have an extensive understanding of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts with extensive knowledge of working on construction projects with multiple stakeholders and have working knowledge of various forms of construction contracts. It is essential that you have worked in a Construction Consultancy environment previously with 5+ years' experience as Project Manager within this industry.
