Our client are a global name in construction, engineering and cost consultancy listing some of the worlds biggest and most innovative organisations as their clientele. Due to continued growth within a number of key vertical markets they are now seeking to recruit an Associate Project Manager to join a busy project management team, that deliver multi disciplinary construction projects and long term estate planning to a variety of UK Gov clients.

Job Description:

The Associate Project Manager will be a senior member of a large team delivering multi disciplinary projects for the Client on a large Government Framework, guiding and advising the client though optioneering, concept and detailed design, construction and hand over stages. Projects will vary in size and scope including Offices, Accommodation and more delicate, sensitive projects (both new builds and refurbishments) which will fall between £5m to £50m. As a Senior Manager you will play an important part in managing and developing a team of assistant project managers and project managers, ensuring that resources are appropriately applied on various projects to deliver client outcomes.

The Individual:

This role will suit experienced project managers ideally with some public sector/goverment framework experience such as CCS and experience in project consultancy within a construction environment. A degree in a construction/engineering/design/architectural subject matter and a project management qualification such as APM or Prince 2 or RICS would be highly beneficial.

In addition you will have the necessary leadership and management qualities to help manage and mentor a team.
