JEC Property Consultants Ltd is a multi-discipline surveying practice established in the Cayman Islands for 37 years. The firm employs Quantity Surveyors, Valuation Surveyors, Building Surveyors and Project Managers and we are currently recruiting a senior Quantity Surveyor with Project Management experience to add to our team.

The candidate should be MRICS qualified Quantity Surveyor and have strong traditional private practice skills in both project and construction management on residential and commercial projects. Experience in the Caribbean will be an advantage. The candidate must be well organized and have excellent estimating and measurement skills using computer aided take off software such as Vector, On Screen Take Off, Cost X or similar programs. The successful surveyor will not only carry out traditional Quantity Surveying duties but will also be involved in a wide range of property related services including the preparation of development appraisals.

The candidate must also have excellent verbal and written communications skills with the necessary drive and ambition to contribute to the growth of the business and obtain new clients. The ability to mix easily, have good people skills and adapt quickly into a new environment is therefore essential. Salary will be paid on a base salary and commission basis and a hardworking Surveyor should exceed the salary guide of US$90,000 p.a. tax free.
