Your new company
You will work for a higher education institute, as a Capital Projects Manager. You will work within their Estates and Facilities team, reporting in to the Director of Estates.

Your new role
You will work as a Capital Projects Manager, managing projects from inception to completion. The value of projects range from £250K to £20million, and are across a variety of sectors including commercial, education, agriculture, and offices. You will review the maintenance programme for the organisation as well as providing technical advise for design, construction and procurement of capital projects. You will liaise with other consultants and contractors, both internally and externally, and ensure the projects run to agreed timelines and specifications.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have a construction related qualification such as MCIOB, MRICS or MAPM, or a construction related degree or equivalent. You will have experience within a client side project management role and education experience is beneficial. You will have managed a large budget, as well as being comfortable client facing.

You will receive a basic of £40000 - £45000 as well as extensive holiday allowance, and a local government pension. My client offers flexible working, as well as the option to work from home 2/3 days a week.
