The role:

You will be instrumental in delivery large packages of work along with our facilities directors and the wider team with values up to £1M.

You will have a degree or equivalent qualification in a construction related subject and have knowledge of contract conditions and law within the industry. Also, you will have sound commercial awareness with a commitment to health and safety and risk management.

Your day-to-day...

  • Lead the contracts team and work with other finance teams
  • Oversee all stages of contract development with partners
  • Maintain relationships with partners and ensure accuracy throughout the contracting process
  • Oversee the preparation, reading and interpretation of contracts
  • Work with risk and compliance teams on date reporting and frequencies.

You are...

  • Track record of delivering this job role as well as managing senior team members.
  • You will have a relevant qualification or experience in a construction related field.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.
  • Proven knowledge and experience of contract structure and documentation.
  • You will be a self-starter able to work independently and within a team environment. 
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Planning and organisational abilities, able to prioritise workload accordingly and work independently.

Location:

This is a National role which requires regular presence on site across the portfolio and a will require weekly overnight travel and for this reason the applicants base/office location is not stipulated and elements of home working will be expected.

Full clean driving licence required and own vehicle.
Please note, successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
