Senior GP Surveyor/Associate

You will work for a Property and law firm who help clients to extract the most value from their development assets with specific expertise relating to CPO,s easements and wayleaves and infrastructure projects.

Your new role
You will work as a Surveyor/Senior Surveyor within the surveying team. This role will be heavily involved in Compulsory Purchase and Land Assembly matters and in addition, Easements and Wayleaves matters. The successful candidate will be involved with landowner consultations and advising clients on all aspects and all stages of Compulsory Purchase from pre application consultation to negotiating compensation claims. The post holder will also provide advice to clients affected by compulsory purchase, prepare reports, advise notes and support the company in pursing new opportunities. With regards to Easements and Wayleaves, the Company's work predominantly relates to electricity infrastructure but the team also advise on gas, water, oil and telecommunications. The successful candidate will be required to prepare strategy reports and prepare or assist in the preparation of development appraisals

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience in Wayleaves, compulsory purchase and other GP Surveying areas. Land agency would be beneficial but not essential. You will ideally be MRICS or working towards it.
