The Orders of St John Care Trust, Support Centre is looking to recruit!

Our office-based support teams are every bit as important to the smooth running of our organisation, and therefore the well-being of our residents, as the teams based in our homes and extra care housing schemes. We have four regional offices, one each in Lincolnshire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, and Oxfordshire, offering opportunities in several different business areas.

We are now recruiting Project Development Manager

OSJCT are looking for a strong experienced project development manager to work within our dynamic and fast-paced property team. In this role you will have overall responsibility to manage new builds in Oxford and Lincolnshire area including demolishing of current properties. You will work with the senior leadership team with planning, co-ordinating and managing the delivery of new projects, with the potential of looking for new opportunities in line with the OSJCT strategic plans.

Other duties include, but not limited to:

  • Ensuring detailed implementation plans are developed and updated.
  • Review reports and attending meetings with all key stakeholders and contractors.
  • Prepare reports on potential new developments and present these.
  • Work with Deputy CEO( project sponsor) to ensure funding and operational costs/revenue of any new schemes.

We are looking for an individual who has extensive experience of project delivery and managing a number of key projects at the same time. You must have a solid understanding of the commercial and financial issues within the care sector. You will be an active listener, have a “can do" attitude and be flexible and adaptable. Have excellent knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts and planning requirements as well as experience in cost planning and working under pressure.
