Associate Building Surveyor

Our Client is expanding our Building Surveying Team within their vibrant Bristol office to build on its ongoing success, working in an award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy, with a secure pipeline of work. They are seeking a passionate and focused Associate Level Building Surveyor who is looking to progress their career, working in a close-knit team. Sectors include public buildings and estates, residential and housing, education, healthcare, commercial and insurance work. You will also be expected to be heavily involved in key client development, financial forecasting, team management and growth.

• Hands on delivery of building surveying services with bias to project work
• Leading projects often co-ordinating our in house multi discipline design services
• Client management and development
• Supervising, managing and mentoring junior members of the team
• Technical reviews to manage the quality of their services

• MRICS
• Consultancy experience, preferably with public sector project experience
• Be commercially minded with an enthusiasm for winning work and business development
• Be able to manage your own workload
• Capable of managing individual team members, organising their work where necessary and providing guidance on projects.
• Good communication and client facing skills
• A positive 'can-do' attitude
• Excellent all-round technical building surveying knowledge
• An analytical mind with a high level of intellect - combining excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust reports and recommendations.

The role offers a highly competitive salary with the opportunity to earn an annual bonus of up to 10% plus a great benefits package. The culture is relaxed and friendly and the projects are exciting.
