Chartered Building Surveyor

The Opportunity

Joshua Robert are working with a well-connected and diverse consultancy who have offices that span the UK and Europe. They are looking for energetic and tenacious Chartered Building Surveyors to join their Leeds office to work alongside a hard-working team of like-minded Surveyors on a wide range of instructions. This could include both public and private sector projects.

The Role

As part of your role, you will be working on a full range of building surveying instructions on a variety of commercial properties, including offices, retail and industrial. You will use your Surveying knowledge to provide your expert advice and support to clients who are principally institutions and property companies. You will be aiding with the co-ordination of several exciting portfolio developments. As part of the role, you will be required to meet target KPI’s on work that is in progress. There will also be an area of Business Development required of you within the role which you will be able to use your understanding of Client Care awareness to assist you with. Helping to also mentor those more junior surveyors that will be part of your team.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively within a team and also independently on their own initiative. They will have strong stakeholder communication skills and the ability to write in-depth reports when required. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. You will also have a clean driving licence.
