A busy local authority in the East Midlands is looking for an Interim Head of Economic Development and Place. An deal candidate will have experience with large scale regeneration projects; economic strategy; planning; commercial awareness and a strategic background.
The Interim Head of Economic Development and Place will be responsible for:
Local Planning Authority – including planning support, development management, planning enforcement, conservation, urban design and planning policy.
Building Control – including dangerous structures and building standards.
Economic Development – including economic development policy, business support.
Climate change – co-ordination of the council’s response to climate change and carbon reduction
