Building Surveyor - Portsmouth/South Coast

The Opportunity

Joshua Robert are currently working with an independent and innovative Chartered Surveying practice who are currently advancing from strength to strength. Due to recent expansion, they are looking for a number of Building Surveyors to deliver on a wide variety of instructions in the North West. Home working is an option with intermittent travel. 

The Role

As part of this role you will use your expert knowledge and experience to assist with the growth of the Building Consultancy Team whilst also providing your advice to the wider Firm, in achieving targeted fee income. Duties could include but not limited to: Preparing specifications, tendering and providing contract administration services. Support with the monitoring of services within projects on behalf of lenders for various construction projects. Mentoring and providing guidance to more junior members of the team. Preparing and negotiating schedules of dilapidation's and assisting with the preparation of schedules of condition.

The Person

The ideal candidate for this role will have a high attention to detail and an inquisitive mind. You will have a positive outlook to taking on local and firm-wide business development. The client is looking for a tenacious and proactive individual who has great stake holder management skills. It is essential you have a full clean driving licence. Experience working on Party Wall, Health & Safety procedures, CDM and DDA.
