Role of the Utilities Surveyor:

Able to complete underground surveys to a high standard including; Ground Penetrating Radar, cable clamping and clipping of pipe work, passive locating and sonde tracingDemonstrate a good working knowledge of AutoCADUnderstand the principles of drainage in relation to site surveys and detailed designCarry out CCTV drainage condition surveys and process the results using WinCan softwareHave an awareness of the use of topographical and measured building surveysSupervise trainee surveyors and provide training when required

Requirements of the Utilities Surveyor:

Previous experience working as an Underground Utilities Surveyor (minimum two years)Experience using AutoCADCompetent using underground surveying equipmentSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider teamConfident and clear communicator - both written and verbalProfessional manner with excellent client facing skills
