Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor
£55k - £70k (depending on experience)
Is your current role repetitive and tedious? Are you looking for something more than just delivering projects day in day out?
This opportunity would give you a clear path to grow into a management position and if business development were something you would like to try your hand in down the line, then you would have the chance to shadow the current director.
You would be working for a medium sized consultancy with a current headcount of 60 in the London office split between QS and PM, they have a head of M&E that is looking for someone to come in and support her – she is looking for someone that wants to help grow the team long term and she is happy to train and expose the business development side of things down the line if this is of interest.
The business specialises in large residential, commercial and data centre projects with construction values ranging up to £300m – to put into perspective the calibre of projects, they are currently working on the largest data centre scheme in the UK to date.
You would have the opportunity to work on a mix of schemes and not be sectorised giving you that diversity in work – most of the work is won through the QS and PM side of the business although the M&E Director wins a lot of her own work which is why there is such huge potential to expand the division.
I think this opportunity would give you the right platform to climb the ladder long term and no doubt you would be in a good position in 5 years’ time once you have successfully helped the team to grow.
The business offers a great benefits package with one of the best bonus structures I know of in the industry.
They are a social group that like doing things outside of work together, they have a really cool office with a big communal area/bar, and you will have the flexibility to work from home 2 days a week!
